My name is Thomas Jack and I’m an Italian illustrator and designer.

I started working in the Art World straight after high school in a contemporary art gallery while part of an artist’s team developing projects throughout Italy, including a multimedia performance at the 2011 Venice Biennale.

when I was 20 I moved to London to attend Central St Martin college where I then graduated as a curator for art and design 3 years later.

While in London I discovered the world of gems and jewellery through a friend;  fell in love with that world and decided to relocate to New York City. There, I attended G.I.A (Gemological Institute of America) where I graduated as jewellery designer (hand + CAD).

While in NYC I met an Indian jeweller who offered me a job. I accepted and moved right away to Jaipur, Rajasthan, where I lived and worked for a year.

I eventually went back to G.I.A. in NYC for another year in order to graduate as a certified Gemologist.

That same year I was offered a Job in Valenza Pò, Italy, working as a designer for the jewellery brand ‘Vhernier’.

Two years after that, while I loved the job and the company, I missed India and had been feeling for a while that I wanted to be a creative in a broader sense beyond jewellery design exclusively.

I went back to Jaipur to my old job for another year while figuring out what to do next.

In 2019 I settled in Milan where I currently work as freelancer.

I’m still designing jewellery but also focusing on my art and illustration while collaborating with brands and developing personal projects.

Always looking for new possibilities.
